Capilla del Cristo

1.       La Capilla del Cristo was built in 1753. Legend has it that during a horse race festival celebrating John the Baptist a racer was unable to stop his horse and wend over the edge of the city wall. The racer survived and to celebrate the miracle the chapel was built, another legend says that the horse racer didn’t survive and the chapel was built to commemorate the tragedy.
